what are some similar dog breeds to boston terriers?

we are thinking of getting another dog and we would like to know some similiar dog breeds to the boston terrier that have minimal health problems and dont shed too much.
we are aware of the French bulldog and the pug but we would like to find others

Well, you named the 2 that I would have mentioned, although Pugs tend to have respiratory problems. Two other breeds are the Affenpincher and the Brussels Griffon. As far as shedding, I’m not sure how that all works out, I know that the BG has a different grooming routine than other dogs. If you want minimal health problems, Rat Terriers are one of the best (but don’t have a mushed face like the ones your interested in). Try reviewing the AKC website and then for more into, use the links to the national and regional breed sites (http://www.akc.org/breeds/index.cfm?nav_area=breeds).
